About Backnix
Backnix is a cloud backup platform for the infrastructure that businesses depend on: Linux servers, relational databases, Docker hosts and Proxmox clusters.
Why Backnix exists
Backups are often an afterthought: a script on a server, a disk in the same rack, a snapshot with the same provider. They work until the day they are needed. Backnix exists to make offsite, encrypted, verified backups the default for infrastructure teams of every size.
Our principles
Restores first
A backup is only as good as the restore it enables. Verification and restore testing guide our product decisions.
Honest availability
Every feature is labeled as available, beta or coming soon. We do not market capabilities that do not exist.
Security by design
Encryption before upload, least privilege and multi-factor authentication are part of the architecture.
Choice of location
Customers choose the region where their data lives, across multiple storage providers.
Transparent pricing
Prices, renewal terms and promotions are shown before contracting.
Where we are today
Backnix is in its early phase. The website, accounts, storage infrastructure management and knowledge center are live; the backup agents and the backup engine are being developed. The features page shows the current status of each capability.
